In Albany, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across New York on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. This place was so good! I got 2 full plates of buffet food, 3 trays of hot pot meat, a bunch of ice cream, mango, cheesecake, and 3 boba drinks. All was delicious. The hot pot is a must but you have to ask for it. Otherwise, all buffet food was warm and fresh! I’m not a huge sushi person but I it looked very good

Honestly I have no clue how this place has high stars. $130 for 3 people they automatically add tip. Which I wouldn’t mind if the food was good. First thought wow look at all the options. Unfortunately sushi isn’t labled what’s cooked and not. But for some anyways. Worst I ever had. Rice bland sticky not fresh. Most of the meat was tough and no taste. I felt like they tried to use heavy spice to cover up the fact the food was flavorless without it. The crab was on ice … barely any meat in it. Didn’t see lobster or hibachi as advertised. Ok only thing worth saying was good was wonton , coconut shrimp, Pepsi and a fried oyster. Definitely not worth the money. We won’t be returning.

I visited Umi Sushi & Seafood Buffet with my family. They have child friendly options like pizza and chicken for picky eaters. There is a variety of food options, drinks like bubble tea, and desserts. The food was a mixed bag. Most of the food was good but some of food was slightly undercooked like the spring rolls and broccoli. We all ordered the same soft beverage and again it was a mixed bag. Some missed the mark. The seafood on the other hand was fresh like the crab. I highly recommend going with the seafood and starches. The overall atmosphere and service was good. The place was clean.

We came here on a Monday evening seeing that the reviews say 4.3 stars, however I wouldn’t even rate it a full 2 stars at best. It felt more like an American Chinese buffet, with a twist. We first got sashimi and sushi. I took a bite of the tuna and you can tell it was not fresh. The salmon sashimi wasn’t terrible. We had sushi next. The rice was dry and terrible like it was sitting out for a while. If you’re an Asian restaurant and mess up rice, that’s how you know it’s not great. We went back for the hot food now. Everything looks promising, but it’s not. The coconut shrimp was probably the best dish. I liked the cheese wontons too. The fried rice was the same, dry and flavorless. There were so many options for seafood and they looked promising but everything was mediocre. The oxtail could be seasoned a tad but was better than any other items. We thought we were going to eat a lot of seafood but we were so disappointed that it grossed us out. We did do their hot pot and that was cool as they bring it to the table. They have bubble tea ready in a fridge too. Dessert was all eh not great. We would love to give it another chance on a Friday or Saturday night hoping that maybe it wou
